Meça o pescoço do seu cão de forma justa, na parte alta, mesmo atrás das orelhas. Não utilize a medida da coleira habitual do seu cão nem acrescente espaço extra usando a regra dos dois dedos.

Medir o pescoço do seu cão demora apenas alguns instantes e é a forma mais fiável de escolher o tamanho correto. Se a medida ficar exatamente no limite entre dois tamanhos, normalmente recomendamos o tamanho mais pequeno.

Seguindo as instruções do vídeo, meça a circunferência do pescoço do seu cão na parte superior do pescoço, atrás das orelhas. Introduza a medida abaixo. Uma vez que a coleira Canny Collar fica posicionada mais acima no pescoço, não introduza o tamanho habitual da coleira do seu cão.

What if my dog is between Canny Collar sizes?

If your dog's neck measurement falls exactly between two sizes, we usually recommend choosing the smaller size. In our experience, owners often allow a little extra room when measuring, so the smaller size generally provides the better fit.

However, if you have a young, growing dog, you may wish to wait a week or two and choose the next size up.

Should I use the two-finger rule when measuring?

No. Do not add extra space or use the usual two-finger rule when taking your dog's measurement for a Canny Collar. Measure snugly around the neck without adding anything to the measurement. The Canny Collar itself is adjustable to provide the correct fit.

Can I choose a Canny Collar size by breed?

We don't recommend choosing a Canny Collar size based on your dog's breed. Dogs of the same breed can have very different neck measurements depending on their individual size and build.

For example, German Shepherds can require several different Canny Collar sizes. Measuring your dog's actual neck is therefore much more reliable than using a breed-based size guide.
