We bought a Canny Collar for our Otterhound who thought she was a Shire Horse. It had immediate results and put an end to her constant pulling. We had a slight issue with the first collar but the manufacturers kindly replaced it. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought a Canny collar years ago for my big male GSD. We could not walk him anymore and tried other collars and harnesses. The Canny collar saved us, it only took 2 walks for our dog to get used to it and I can walk him with one hand. Thank you!

Lola, my rescue dog, has been with me for a few years now. She’s a Labrador-Springer Spaniel mix, and she’s incredibly energetic. Before I adopted her, she spent the first two years of her life chained up in a garden, which left her in desperate need of both physical exercise and mental enrichment. Over the years, I’ve tried countless aids to help make our walks easier, but none of them worked quite right. At 24kg and with a lot of energy, she’s strong and a little reactive to other dogs, making walks challenging. I've struggled with back and shoulder pain, especially when she pulls, and I’ve often found myself walking at odd hours just to avoid other dog walkers and the stress of managing her.
Due to her pulling, especially on rougher terrain, I’ve had to leave her behind for hikes with my partner, which has been a source of guilt for me since I always envisioned taking her on epic adventures when I rescued her.
I’ve tried everything – the Halti harness, which rubbed her raw behind her front legs; the face Halti, which worked better but caused her to drag her face in the grass, leaving her muzzle sore; two regular harnesses, which either caused her to refuse to walk entirely or let her pull freely; and even a martingale collar, which I couldn’t stand because I hated hearing her choke. In the end, I resorted to walking her with a training lead tied around my waist, but that was still uncomfortable due to her constant pulling. Walks started to feel more like a workout than an enjoyable outing for either of us.
Then, one day while shopping, I saw someone walking their dog with a Canny Collar. It looked like a Halti but different, and when I asked, the owner explained how much their dog hated regular halti-style harnesses but took to the Canny Collar easily. They even let me walk their dog for a bit, and it was effortless. Still, I was hesitant to invest in something new, especially after previous disappointments. I added it to a wishlist and thought no more of it.
Recently, after a nasty fall while trail running, I ended up with whiplash, and I found it impossible to walk Lola without immense pain. My partner can’t handle her, and I couldn't risk further injury, so Lola ended up not getting the exercise she needs. I resorted to using the Halti again, but the guilt of seeing her muzzle red and sore was unbearable. That’s when I remembered the Canny Collar. I found one on an online marketplace, nearly new and at a good price, and decided to give it a try.
I can’t express enough how much of a difference it’s made. While Lola is still getting used to it, she’s already walking so much better – calmly beside me, with far less pulling, and without rubbing her face into the ground like she did with the Halti. It’s been so much easier for me to maneuver her around other dogs, and I’m no longer in pain after walks. The collar is simple to put on, and even if I had paid full price, it would have been worth every penny.
This product has completely changed our daily walks. What once was a stressful, anxiety-inducing experience for both of us is now something I look forward to. I can’t wait for Lola to become more accustomed to the collar, and then I’ll finally be able to take her back to the hills and mountains, as I always hoped to do.

I would walk my dogs everyday, until we got Beau he is a 2 yr American Bull Arab crossed Staffy.
He would jerk, run, smell every plant or pole along the way & yank my arm off so I refused to walk him anymore. I have bought many halters, collars leads over the yrs & nothing worked until I used the canny collar OMG what has happened to my dog, he is so obedient, walks next to me & doesn't yank at my arms & its only been 2 days I love it, he has to love it cause he comes for walks now lol.

After trying everything else I bought 2 of these head collars. First time trying and what a difference it made to the pups pulling. They did try and get the nose piece off a few times. I just stopped and praised them then carried on walking. By the end of the walk (45mins) they left the nose piece alone. I would highly recommend
I'am a 78 year-old with a very energetic Cocker spaniel pup he is 10 months old, had him from 8 weeks old. This canny collar is marvellous,has stopped all the pulling, should have had it earlier. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Well made , easy to put on . Originally I was having trouble with my Rottweiler pulling it off his short snout then I tightened the clip under his chin and no more problems. This is a great product . I will recommend to others at dog training.

We got the canny company head collar for a Labrador 4 weeks ago and some training with me was done as he used to pull my arm off and constantly try to get the halti of his nose and I would of never of let my 2 year walk him either but today my 2 year old walked him from the field all the way back to our house and even crossed the road with him. I’ve tried so many ways to stop my sensitive GSP not to pull. Every other product as been stressed & uncomfortable, I’ve tried the lot. I was recommended this by a dog Walker & its fantastic & allows the dog to breathe & drink..
Love this collar so much, after the first time trying it I have a different dog. My shepsky is a strong puller normally and he did spend the first 10 minutes trying to get it off but was unsuccessful and eventually gave up. What followed was the most stress free walk iv ever had with him, he didn't even try to pull towards other dogs or people like he usually does
We have a young pointer who is sometimes too excited not to pull. I have tried various types of over the muzzle options and the canny collar is the first that works for us all. It is easy to use, doesn't have to be in action all the time and stops her pulling. It is sturdy, survives pointer adventures well and it is also very simple to order replacements as its size number is on the collar.
Bought a Canny collar for my Dobermann while I try to get him walking nicely on his harness. It helps him remember to walk to heel and not pull, however he dislikes wearing it and keeps trying to rub against me to get it off. He doesn’t dislike having it put on as much as the ones that don’t undo so that’s a good start and we’ll persevere with the rest !
Great collar for walking my standard poodle. Took a little bit to get use too, but now walks well. He still pulls occasionally but can be easily controlled.
I am so pleased I purchased a canny collar and lead, I have a cocker spaniel and all she does is pull, my groomer showed me a trick with her chock lead, so I tried it and it worked which made me buy the canny lead and immediately she walked right beside me without all this pulling, it’s made such a difference to taking the dog out for a walk, I’ve even recommended this collar to a colleague at work and she has purchased one for her dog too.
Scenario:
2 yr old rescued Rottweiler that shows aggression and insubordination on a walk.
Not my first fully grown rescue Rottie from a dog home that’s scared and defensive, not knowing any proper human care before.
The Canny collar is the only solution to gain full control of a dog.

Bought two canny collars and leads for our two terrier boys Shadow & 7 month Bruno. Both liked to pull towards different sniffs especially if away somewhere new.
Tried the halti with Bruno which helped slightly, but not like the canny collars which were amazing from the 1st time we tried them. Both dogs walk beautifully and are happy on walks. My husband and I are totally delighted too, a fabulous product. I no longer need to take the dogs out separately or have sore arms! We just kept smiling walking along the promenade in disbelief at how great the collars are. Totally recommend.
Walking the twins together is a nightmare as they just try to out pull each other. Duke is fairly good on his own but Molly just hates being on the lead and always pulls. They’re brilliant off the lead but a total embarrassment on the lead. Until today that is. Collars arrived yesterday and we used them this morning. We had the best walk ever with little pulling from either of them.
